Sterling One Foundation Reaffirms Commitment to Climate Action on International Ozone Day

  • As the world commemorate International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer, Sterling One Foundation has reiterated its dedication to climate action, emphasizing the significance of global collaboration in addressing ozone depletion and broader environmental challenges. The Foundation’s renewed focus aligns with efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

Speaking on the importance of safeguarding the ozone layer, Sterling One Foundation’s CEO, Olapeju Ibekwe, highlighted its critical role in protecting ecosystems and human health. “Protecting the ozone layer is essential to securing the future health and well-being of both our environment and communities,” she said.

She continued that, “Climate action is central to the Foundation’s mission, and we are fully committed to leading efforts that preserve our natural resources and promote sustainable practices for generations to come.”

Sterling One Foundation, a known advocate for climate action, has implemented various initiatives aimed at reducing environmental impacts, such as plastic pollution, which contributes to ozone layer depletion.
